Jenna Jameson appears to be getting closer to a diagnosis for the mystery illness that’s been plaguing her for weeks.
“Hey, guys. I’m still in the hospital, but I’m doing OK and i’ll be out soon,” she said in a video posted to her Instagram Story.
The former adult film actress has been hospitalized since early January when she lost the ability to walk and had been vomiting for weeks.
Doctors first believed Jameson, 47, had Guillain-Barré syndrome, but since have ruled it out as a potential diagnosis.
“Update on Jenna. Her legs thinning down. She can’t walk can’t stand up and She doesn’t get any better with the IVIG treatment [a therapy treatment for patients with antibody deficiencies] and vitamins.
“After they suspected that it’s guillain barre syndrome now they having the run more test cuz they are not sure,” Jameson’s partner, Lior Bitton, said in a video, later adding that she definitely “does not have” the disorder.
“It was confirmed by the doctor after a second test and five rounds of IVIG, so, she does not have the Guillain-Barré … We’ll keep you posted soon.”
Neither the Israeli businessman nor Jameson, parents to 4-year-old daughter Batel, has revealed a diagnosis since the autoimmune disorder was ruled out.
Jameson previously posted a video about her then-diagnosis, thanking fans for their good wishes before writing: “I did NOT get the jab or any jab. This is NOT a reaction to the jab. Thank you for your concern.” (Jameson has previously espoused anti-vaccine views on her social media.)
