Jennifer Lopez insists she had ‘best time’ with Ben Affleck after ‘miserable’ pics

Jennifer Lopez is poking fun at her husband Ben Affleck’s stoic expression after fans said he looked “miserable” at the 2023 Grammys.

On Thursday, the “Marry Me” actress, 53, shared the newly released trailer for “AIR,” which Affleck directed and stars in.

“AIR … cannot wait!” she tweeted alongside a preview of the film, before tagging the movie’s stars Matt Damon, Viola Davis, Chris Tucker, Jason Bateman and Chris Messina.

As the clip begins, the words, “MY HUSBAND’S HAPPY FACE” were written across the screen as Affleck was shown with a blank expression on his face.

Lopez was seemingly making fun of Affleck after he became a viral sensation following the Grammys on Sunday night.

As the “Deep Water” star accompanied his wife to music’s biggest night, his facial expressions caught the eye of viewers who felt like he wanted to be anywhere else other than the Grammys.

“however bad of a day you’re having, I promise you’re not as miserable as Ben Affleck at the Grammys right now,” tweeted one fan.

Despite what fans may think, Lopez insisted that she and her actor hubby “had the best time” at the awards show, sharing pics of their night out to Instagram the following day.

Additionally, a seat filler revealed what it was like when he sat next to the high-profile couple at the annual event.

“JLo showed Ben Affleck the phone and was like, ‘Oh my God, honey, look at this meme circulating about you!’ And he was like, ‘Oh God, this again.’ Like, he knew during the performance that he was a meme,” influencer @almostannna claimed in a TikTok video posted on Wednesday.

“Like, he knew, and he also chose just not to change his expression!” she continued. “I love how unbothered that is. So, I know that she was on her phone and saw it and was like, ‘Honey, this is so funny, like look at this.’ And he was like, ‘Jesus Christ.’”

Though the TikToker said the “Gone Girl” actor didn’t look happy” to be there, she said he and Lopez were still “cute and s–t” and “super lovey-dovey.”

“AIR” is set to be released in theaters on April 5.
