The Jordanian royal family is set to have a flurry of weddings next year following the announcement of a fourth engagement.
King Abdullah II’s nephew Talal El-Saleh and his fiancée Danah announced their engagement at the end of November and recently held an engagement ceremony.
The ceremony involved the groom-to-be – whose brother Abdul also got engaged this year – placing a ring on his bride’s finger in front of their loved ones.
Sharing a snippet of the event on social media, Danah wore a cream one-shouldered dress with a feather trimmed hem for the occasion.

She was pictured standing alongside her soon to be mother-in-law Princess Alia, 66, who donned a lilac suit with a floral shirt, and her husband-to-be Talal.
Danah’s mother wore a black midi-dress as the four of them posed for a photo taken in a living area with gold and cream furnishings.
Posting the pictures to Instagram, Princess Alia said: ‘God Bless them all’.
People from all over the world took to social media to congratulate the latest Jordanian engagement, with one saying: ‘A thousand congratulations to the beautiful couple on their engagement.’

Talal Al-Saleh is the son of Princess Alia Bint Hussein and Sayyid Mohammed Al-Saleh, who is the royal’s second husband.
The groom is named after his grandfather King Talal, who died in 1999.
The announcement comes after two of Queen Rania of Jordan’s children also got engaged in quick succession.
In August, Queen Rania of Jordan (centre) announced the surprise engagement of her eldest son Crown Prince Hussein to glamorous businessman’s daughter Rajwa Al-Saif
In August, the heir to the throne Crown Prince Hussein proposed to his girlfriend Rajwa Al-Saif ,28.
Queen Rania took to Instagram to express her happiness at the news, saying: ‘I didn’t think it was possible to hold so much joy in my heart!
‘Congratulations to my eldest Prince Hussein and his beautiful bride-to-be, Rajwa.’
The month before that, Prince Hussein’s younger sister, Princess Iman, announced she was planning to tie the knot with Venezuelan beau, Jameel Alexander Thermiotis.

Princess Iman’s brother wrote on Instagram: ‘May God bless you and bring you together in goodness, God willing.
‘Congratulations on the engagement my dear sister Iman and brother Jameel. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.’
Earlier this year, Princess Ali’s youngest son Abdul Hamid El-Saleh also got engaged to his fiancée Shouq – with the couple both attending the ceremony.
Last month Queen Rania of Jordan was pictured alongside Queen Consort Camilla and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark for a reception at Clarence House.
The reception was held to raise awareness of violence against women and girls; and Queen Mathilde of Belgium was also present.
Pictured either side of Queen Rania was Hussein’s new fiancée, glamorous businessman’s daughter Rajwa and Iman’s fiancé Jameel.
‘My heart is full! Couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate than with all my loved ones around me,’ the proud mother captioned the Instagram snap, as she stood with one arm around her future son-in-law and the other around her future daughter-in-law.
