Kanye West is drawing a line in the sand, as the artist has cut frequent collaborator Kid Cudi from upcoming album “DONDA 2,” due to his friendship with Pete Davidson, current boyfriend of Ye’s ex, Kim Kardashian.
“JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS, CUDI WILL NOT BE ON DONDA BECAUSE HE’S FRIENDS WITH YOU KNOW WHO,” the 44-year-old shared via Instagram late Saturday afternoon, “WE ALL SPEAK IN BILLIE LANGUAGE NOW.”
For those uncertain whether or not “YOU KNOW WHO” refers to Davidson, West later uploaded a photo of himself and Cudi having dinner with the “Saturday Night Live” player with his face scratched out.
West also took it upon himself to share a photoshopped image inspired by “Captain America: Civil War,” where he, Drake, Julia Fox, Travis Scott and Future face off with Davidson, Kardashian, Cudi, Billie Eilish and old foe, Taylor Swift.
Finally, West released another edited photo of himself with J Prince and Drake “VS” Cudi and Davidson, titled, “WHO WILL WIN?”
Rather than bite his tongue, Cudi took to Twitter to address his “Make Her Say” collaborator, claiming that the pair have already had a private discussion about the matter.
“We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet,” Cudi 38, tweeted. “You ain’t no friend. BYE.”
Cudi later added, “God opens the door so the wrong people can exit ur life.”
He then took to Instagram to respond, “Too bad I don’t wanna be on ur album you f–kin dinosaur hahaha 😂 everyone knows I’ve been the best thing about ur albums since i met u. ima pray for you brother.”
The exchange comes days after West demanded an apology from Billie Eilish on behalf of Travis Scott. The singer did not oblige.
