Happy St. David’s Day!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are in Wales today to celebrate the holiday honoring its patron saint and Kate Middleton paid tribute to the country by choosing a local jewelry designer.

Wearing a pair of twisted gold hoops by Spells of Love ($80), Middleton visited a farm in country chic attire. The Duchess patted goats in her Blundstone Classic 550 boots ($220) — and one of them even bit the sleeve of her Seeland Woodcock Advanced Jacket ($193).

She bundled up in a bright red scarf — a nod to the Welsh flag — and a daffodil pin, which is the national flower of Wales.

The royal later changed into two old favorites, stepping out in a pair of black Aquatalia boots she hasn’t worn since 2018, along with a green Sportmax belted coat and green turtleneck for a trip to the Abergavenny market.

The Spells of Love hoops, which according to the brand are made from recycled 18K gold vermeil, are also available in rose gold and silver, as well as in a larger size and smaller size.

The Duchess, 40, has been wearing tons of twisted gold hoop earrings lately; she also owns a pair of $14.50 ASOS hoops in a chunkier weight.

As for Spells of Love, Middleton has sported the Welsh designer’s pieces on several previous occasions, frequently wearing the jeweler’s gold Alia hoops ($105) and Double Strand Beaded Satellite Necklace ($146).

Middleton isn’t the only high-profile fan of the brand: Kendall Jenner sported the same ‘Alia’ earrings as Middleton at a Knicks game last year.

Designer Hayley Jones told ITV that she “couldn’t keep them in stock for more than a few days” after the Duchess originally wore the style in 2020, and after seeing Jenner wear the earrings she “was actually crying.”

Since then the Welsh brand has become even more popular, no doubt thanks to Middleton’s influence.

Better grab your pair before they sell out.
