Kate Middleton appeared to be in high spirits today as she cheered on players at the Wimbledon finals at SW19.  

The Duchess of Cambridge looked a vision of summer chic in a £695 crepe midi dress in blush pink by London-based designer Beulah, paired with what was thought to be a budget-conscious £30 Nicholes court shoes in nude from Aldo. 

The royal teamed her stylish look with a Josef beaded flap clutch bag, Mappin & Webb Empress drop earrings and a pretty pink and white floral face covering. 

Kate, 39, appeared to be delighted to have made it to finals day after missing most of the action this week after coming into contact with a Covid case – and was even seen taking part in a Mexican wave alongside her father Michael and CEO of the Lawn Tennis Association, Scott Lloyd. 

She joined VIPs in the Royal Box to watch the Gentlemen’s Wheelchair Singles Final between Gordon Reid and Joachim Gerard on court three – and is expected to be in the royal box on Centre Court this afternoon when the tournament’s biggest match, this year between Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini, takes place.

Kate chatted to her father Michael as she made her way to Centre Court later in the day. It’s not clear whether the Duke of Cambridge will attend the men’s finals between Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini, with the England Euros finals likely to be a bigger engagement today

Later, Kate chatted to dad Michael as the pair made their way to Centre Court. It’s not clear whether the Duke of Cambridge will attend the men’s finals between Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini, with the England Euros finals likely to be a bigger engagement today. 

En route, Kate chatted to tennis fans and appeared to make the good luck gesture in reference to the England match at Wembley this evening. 

Forced into self-isolation for all of last week, the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club will present the trophy this afternoon, with Djokovic looking to make history by matching Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal with 20 grand slam titles. 

She was first alerted about her contact’s positive test last Friday – after spending most of the day at Wimbledon with VIPs including Tim Henman and Joe Wicks.   


The Duchess looked elegant in the pale pink ensemble, which was belted at the waist. She wore her brunette locks lightly curled and tumbling over her shoulders

Beulah London, co-founded by Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs and Lavinia Brennan in 2010, has become a go-to label for Kate, who has stepped out in their designs on a number of occasions. 

The Duchess looked both elegant in the pale pink ensemble, which was belted at the waist. She wore her brunette locks lightly curled and tumbling over her shoulders and sported a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses to keep away from the sun’s glare. 

Yesterday, the Duchess of Cambridge joined Prince William and a group of VIPs in the royal box for Ladies finals day. 

The royal donned a pretty floral face mask on the final day of the Wimbledon tournament; while Kate is usually a frequent visitor to the second week of the event, this year she has been forced to miss much of the action due to self-isolation
