Kate Middleton showed off her thrifty side once again this week as sported a pair of boots she first wore in 2011.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 40, donned an all-green tonal outfit while visiting Abergavenny Market with Prince William to celebrate St. David’s Day yesterday.
And in a touching nod to her decade plus of duty in the royal family, Kate finished her outfit with her Aquatalia Rouge boots, which she wore for her first official engagement in 2011.
Then William’s fiancée – Kate wore the £245 boots as she visited Trearddur Bay in Anglesey where the soon-to-be royal couple christened a new lifeboat.
She wore them again the following year, on one of her first solo outings as a royal as she visited two schools in Oxford.

Clearly a fan of the Italian footwear brand, the royal owns the boots in black suede too – and at least six other pairs of boots by the brand – with one pair getting worn on at least 20 occasions.
Kate sported the boots again in 2018, where she joined her husband William in Essex to visit the Royal Foundation’s Coach Core programme, pairing the boots with a smart casual in a checked blazer teamed with black skinny jeans and ankle boots.
And again, she sported them in 2019 while with William on a beach in North Wales.
Yesterday, she also wore a £940 longline forest green Sportmax coat with a matching polo neck, as well as black skinny jeans.
Showing her thoughtful side, the Duchess also sported earrings from Welsh designer to celebrate St David’s Day.

The mother-of-three kept her locks loose and wavy, while wearing a dainty pair of hooped golden earrings, costing £60 from Spells of Love.
The Duchess isn’t the only high-profile fan of Spells of Love, with Kendall Jenner sporting the same ‘Alia’ earrings at a basketball game last year.
Yesterday, the couple visited Blaenavon Hwb, a community-focused youth centre, Kate, who is a keen baker, cast her eye over William’s attempts to make Welsh cakes and they also played a game of pool.
She went over to the oven and effortlessly began assisting with cooking and flipping the cakes on the stove, while chatting with Libby, 16.
After William began rolling the dough and cutting it out, he told the group gathered around him: ‘I’m under a lot of pressure here.
‘Do not judge my cooking, this could go horribly wrong. It’s not Bake Off. Where’s Mary (Berry) when you need her?’
When the duchess asked to see her husband’s efforts, she pointed out the thinness of his cakes.
‘That one is a little bit skinny,’ William conceded, before looking at them again and adding: ‘They are probably all a little bit skinny.’
