Kendall Jenner finally responds to criticism over ‘inappropriate’ wedding guest dress

Who remembers Kendall Jenner’s extremely racy wedding guest outfit from November? Well we’ve certainly not forgotten about it.

A few months have passed since Kendall Jenner almost broke the Internet with said dress and it appears the barely there frock had the bride's stamp of approval.

The model and reality star attended friend Lauren Perez’s wedding in Miami wearing a fairly risqué black Mônot diamond cut out dress from their Spring/Summer 2020 collection which featured small strips of fabric to cover her top half.

The brunette beauty kept her look simple and chic with her hair loosely down and a soft pink lip from her sister Kylie's makeup range but while we liked her look, her fanbase thought differently and she’s finally responded to the backlash.

The star took plenty of selfies posing next to friends Hailey Bieber who wore a glittery gold dress and Bella Hadid who opted for a spaghetti strap frock.

But all eyes were firmly on Kendall, 26 that day and she received a lot of criticism for this cut out look, why you ask?

Well, the famous frock is accompanied by larger cut-out panels across the stomach and reveals quite a lot of her body particularly her chest area and followers and critics have branded it as ‘inappropriate’ for a wedding.

Now a few months have passed, Kendall has finally broken her silence and responded to the claims.

Newlywed Lauren posted another photo of the dress on her own Instagram captioning the post: "The greatest night of 2021’ to which a follower commented ‘Inappropriate outfit at wedding @kendalljenner I’m embarrassed for you #cringe."

While another criticised the model saying: “So disrespectful to wear this. In every photo you see her, not the bride,” while a third added, “How to upstage the bride 101.”

A fan quickly defended Kendall by saying: “If the bride herself doesn’t give a f*ck why do you care? Relax". Lauren herself backed her friend saying: "Tell em! SHE LOOKED STUNNING AND I LOVED IT."

Kendall shortly added: "Obvi asked for your approval in advance too, we love a beach weddin.". Since then, comments have been disabled as we can imagine her fans went wild for the drama.

So there you have it, it may have taken her a few months but we’re glad she finally stuck up for her choice of wedding guest outfit and we hope you agree!
