Kevin Hart was feeling generous after performing a show at the Barclays Center on the “Only Headliners Allowed” comedy tour that he’s doing with Chris Rock.
The funny man made the night of local “famous homeless” man, Julio, when he gave him $500 on his way into Herald’s Square jiggle joint Sapphire 39.
Julio apparently isn’t your average panhandler. We’re told he earns his bread with his own al fresco stand-up act. “He was telling jokes while Kevin was walking,” the source said, adding that he enjoyed the show enough to hand over the wad of cash.
Hart arrived hand-in-hand with his wife Eniko and “was in a great mood, taking pictures and chatting it up with everyone,” we’re told.
Hart’s comedy partner bestie Rock, who has been hanging out with Lake Bell, did not show up to the club.
Still, Hart had plenty of other famous friends by his side. Inside, he partied with rapper Fabolous, Maino and Young MC, who performed his 1989 hit “Bust A Move.” Hart, of course, “was busting a move” according to spies in the club.
Meanwhile, his generosity didn’t stop at Julio. We’re told Hart brought his own Gran Coramino tequila to the bash and even gave free bottles to patrons at other tables. The comedian also “spent over $10,000 throwing singles into the crowd and tipping the dancers,” the insider shared.
Naturally, Hart closed the place down. He and his crew didn’t leave the strip spot until after 4 a.m., we’re told.
