Khloé Kardashian admitted she struggled to connect with her newborn son, calling the surrogacy process a “mind f–k.”

The reality star — who welcomed Tatum with ex Tristan Thompson in July 2022 — revealed in Thursday’s Season 3 premiere of Hulu’s “The Kardashians” that it didn’t really register she was having a child until she got to the hospital.

“I felt really guilty that this woman just had my baby,” Kardashian said in a confessional. “I take the baby and I go to another room and you’re sort of separated. It’s such a transactional experience ’cause it’s not about him.”

She added that she was in a state of “shock” around the whole experience of surrogacy.

“I wish someone was honest about surrogacy and the difference of it,” she said, clarifying that it’s not a bad thing. “It’s still great, it’s just very different.”

While talking to her sister Kim Kardashian — who welcomed two of her four children via surrogacy — and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, Khloé admitted the process had been challenging for her.

“It’s a mind f–k. It’s really the weirdest thing,” she told them, nodding her head yes when Disick asked if she felt less connected to her son than her daughter, whom she birthed herself.

Khloé shares 5-year-old daughter True and 9-month-old son Tatum with Thompson.

The Good American co-founder, 38, has had a tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship with the Los Angeles Lakers player, 32.

Thompson — who began dating Khloé in 2016 — first cheated on her when she was pregnant with True in 2018. The pair stayed together but split in 2019 when news broke that he kissed Kylie Jenner’s pal Jordyn Woods at a house party.

Khloé and Thompson got back together during the COVID-19 pandemic but called it quits once again in 2021 after Instagram model Sydney Chase claimed during an interview that she had hooked up with the NBA player.

Toward the end of 2021, the couple were back together and secretly expecting a baby together via surrogate.

But that December, Thompson was caught in his now-famous paternity scandal with Maralee Nichols.

“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” he said in a January 2022 statement, adding, “Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,” he wrote. “You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.”

News of the couple’s second child broke in July 2022, days before he was born.

Earlier this month, Khloé blasted fans for speculating she was back with Thompson.

“Stop pushing this narrative. It’s tiring. But I suppose You guys will continue the narrative you want regardless of what I say so what’s the point,” she commented on Instagram, adding that constantly addressing the rumors is “exhausting.”

The US Sun revealed in May that the baby’s name is Tatum Robert. Khloé has yet to confirm the name herself, and in the Season 3 premiere of the show, they bleep his name when she says it in a confessional.

New episodes of “The Kardashians” stream Thursdays on Hulu.
