'Kirby and the Forgotten Land' Now Has a Pre-Order Bonus at Wal-Mart

With only one month to go until release, Kirby and the Forgotten Land finally has another pre-order bonus in North America. Wal-Mart announced its bonus item on Feb. 23, giving fans plenty of time to purchase Nintendo‘s newest Kirby adventure ahead of its official launch in a few weeks. Here’s what fans will receive with their pre-order, plus other storefronts with Kirby and the Forgotten Land deals.

Wal-Mart has launched a pre-order bonus for ‘Kirby and the Forgotten Land’

As seen on Wal-Mart’s website, fans can pre-order a physical copy of Kirby and the Forgotten Land from now until March 25 to receive an “exclusive PopSocket” at no additional cost. The PopSocket takes inspiration from the famous pink puffball, featuring Kirby’s big eyes, rosy cheeks, and bright smile. Those who love to collect Kirby items will definitely want to consider the Wal-Mart pre-order.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Wal-Mart deal does not include any discounts — Kirby and the Forgotten Land currently sits at its full price of $59.99. Additionally, at this time, Wal-Mart appears to be the only U.S. retailer offering a PopSocket pre-order bonus. Those who pre-order from GameStop will receive a pin set, though. If other stores plan on including a pre-order bonus, they’ll likely be announced in the coming days.

This Kirby and the Forgotten Land pre-order bonus follows several pre-order exclusives in other regions, all making perfect gifts for Kirby lovers. In the U.K., for example, those who order from the Nintendo storefront can receive a free Kirby notebook and a magnet sheet. Additionally, Hong Kong is offering a pretty neat bonus: a Kirby backpack cover inspired by Kirby’s new Mouthful Mode.

‘Kirby and the Forgotten Land’ pre-order locations and deals

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is available for pre-order at various retailers, online and in-store. In addition to Wal-Mart and GameStop, fans can pick up a physical copy from Best Buy at full price. Meanwhile, Amazon is currently offering a physical copy at a discounted price of $54.99 or a digital copy at full price. The digital version is also for sale on Nintendo’s eShop.

Kirby’s new adventure launches on Nintendo Switch in March

Kirby and the Forgotten Land marks the pink hero’s first outing in a 3D open-world setting. Players must traverse an abandoned island using Kirby’s various abilities to save Waddle Dees and restore Waddle Dee Town. Here’s the official synopsis for the game:

Float off on an all-new adventure as the powerful puffball, Kirby. Explore in 3D stages as you discover a mysterious world with abandoned structures from a past civilization—like a shopping mall?! Copy enemies’ abilities like the new Drill and Ranger and use them to attack, explore your surroundings, and save the kidnapped Waddle Dees from the ferocious Beast Pack alongside the mysterious Elfilin. Hope you’re hungry for an unforgettable adventure!

Kirby and the Forgotten Land arrives on Nintendo Switch on March 25.
