A body modification fan has been forced to remove his beloved horn implants after run-ins with police left him out of pocket.

George Kosmetatos, a professional body piercer, has drastically altered his appearance with tattoos and other adornments.

The animal lover’s facial tattoos include the word ‘FREAK’ on his forehead, and he has also experimented with subdermal implants, which often attract second glances when he is out and about.

He insists he doesn't regret a single one of his modifications, although he has had to get rid of one – albeit reluctantly.

Speaking on The Outsiders’ YouTube channel, George, from Greece, explained: “I had horns, but I had problems with the police – they were giving me fines because I couldn’t wear a bike helmet.

Asked if the horns had been impeding his ability to wear a helmet, George said: “Yes, I couldn’t so I had to remove them. I miss them and some time I will put them back.”

George detailed his plans to tattoo his eyeballs black and get horns that span across the top of his skull.

“I’d like to get silicon horns that go under the skin,” he said.

“And maybe I would put two more rows of implants, called transderma.

“I will put four to five on one side and four to five on the other side like a double mohican. I’d like metallic horns but it’s still a long-term goal.”

When George began his radical transformation, he admitted that some people had reacted badly to his unusual appearance.

But, after covering himself head to toe in ink, the tattoo fanatic claimed he had developed a thick skin.

“Now I don’t care at all,” he said. “I even have fun with bullies bullying, negativity, swearing. I enjoy it and laugh and joke about it.”

And, having taken this stance, George ruled out any possibility of getting his unique artwork removed in the future.

“I haven’t regretted anything because when you are doing a project like this it’s not something you regret,” he stressed.

“For ideological reasons I would never do laser, because I strongly believe that my job has nothing to do with lasers.”

Rather than trying to fit in with societal norms, he said people should simply be kinder to others.

“I don’t have a problem if you tell me something negative or you don’t like what I’ve done,” he noted. “I didn’t wake up one day and say ‘I will tattoo my face to impress random people’.

“I did it because I like it. Most people who don’t even have one tattoo cannot understand this.”
