Lady Gaga brought big drama to Tuesday’s UK premiere of “House of Gucci,” dressed in a sheer, diaphanous purple dress from the titular fashion label.
Her red carpet look came equipped with a glamorous, gauzy cape, and Gaga made the most of those yards of fabric while posing up a storm.
The pop star and actress, 35, paired the grape-hued gown with glittering gloves, thigh-high fishnets and her signature towering platform boots — bedazzled, of course.
And she completed her ensemble with plenty of diamond jewelry, plus smoky eye makeup in the same purple shade.
Joining Gaga on the carpet at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square were her “House of Gucci” co-stars, Adam Driver and Jared Leto, who sported a sharp navy suit and tie and a teal velvet Gucci tux, respectively.
Also in attendance was Salma Hayek, who not only appears in the flick, but also happens to be married to François-Henri Pinault — the CEO of Kering, Gucci’s parent company.
In theaters November 24, the Ridley Scott-directed film stars Driver, 37, as ill-fated fashion mogul Maurizio Gucci; Gaga plays his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani, who was convicted of plotting his murder in 1995. It’s based on Sara Gay Forden’s book “The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed.”
And while the real-life Gucci family has said they’re “truly disappointed” in the movie, accusing the production of “stealing the identity of a family to make a profit,” the fashion house itself — with which the family’s no longer involved — granted “total creative freedom” to the film’s crew and even opened its archives for use during the shoot.
