Have you ever swooned over the latest hair tool, only to be off by the hefty price tag? We’ve all been there, but supermarket giant Lidl has come to the rescue with a brand new styling brush that promises to give you expensive-looking hair – for under £12.
Available to buy now in Lidl stores, Silvercrest Multi-Function Hot Air Styler, £11.99 here, comes with six different attachments, including a curling iron, double-sided brush, a vented brush and a concentrator nozzle.
Lidl’s bargain hair tool has two different heat and speed settings, and a cool-shot function, which helps set your style in place.

It also comes in a pretty pink design with an added storage bag – ideal for keeping your attachments all in one place.
The supermarket claims that its Hot Air Styler is perfect for experimenting with different hairstyles, or drying and styling your hair in one step.

Looking at Lidl’s new tool, we can’t help but notice that it looks similar to Dyson’s Airwrap Styler Complete, £449 here.
But how do they compare? Both versions offer six different attachments, a cold-shot feature and the option to control the speed and heat of the styling tool.

With the various brush types and wands included, both products also enable you to style your hair from wet. They also both promise to create perfect, long-lasting curls.
Clearly Dyson’s version has some incredible features that shouldn’t be overlooked. The clever heat control system, for example, monitors the temperature and keeps it under 150°C to prevent heat-related damage. Something Lidl’s version doesn’t offer.
If you want an introduction to an air styling tool then buying the Lidl version will save you £437, but you better be quick, because we think this bargain version will sell out fast.
The styler sits in Lidl’s brand new Personal Care section, which launched earlier this week.
From a foot spa, to a manicure kit, and even a crystal lamp, the brand is treating shoppers to a variety of me-time beauty buys that encourage self-care.
The collection also features make-up storage solutions, and bathroom accessories – including a pillow for your bathtub.
