Witch hazel can be purchased from just £4.96 here. Essential oils tend to vary in price, but the Neal's Yard Remedies Lavender Essential Oil, £9.50 here, has great reviews.

Returning to Instagram, Stacey urges fans to “always research the right essential oils for you, especially if you have pets and babies”.

This isn’t the first time that Stacey has created her own snooze-boosting sprays. In the past, the star created a clary sage and bergamot-scented version after finding a recipe on Google.

Sharing her first attempt to her social media account, Stacey writes, “I wish Instagram had a scratch-and-sniff button. It smells sooo lovely.”

Pillow sprays are a great way to help sleep and relaxation, but some can be pricey, so Stacey’s bargain alternative is a great way to get the same effect for less.

Those hoping to copy the formula themselves will find Stacey’s pillow spray recipe in her new book Tap To Tidy, £11.99 here.

In the star’s book, Stacey hilariously refers to distilled water as “posh bottled water”, and also tells fans that the witch hazel can be replaced with vodka.

It looks like Stacey created this calming pillow spray at just the right time, as the star shared her anxieties about posting a preview of her book.

“I nearly didn’t put my book at the end of this because I don’t want to annoy anyone with it all,” Stacey writes.

“The truth is, I worked so hard on it and I’m proud of every single page inside it, and I just can’t get over all of my favourite things inside it, so why not get her out at any moment I can and be proud,” she adds.

Stacey’s fiancé Joe Swash shared a snap of the star creating her pillow sprays to his own Instagram account, joking, “I swear she’s a 97-year-old trapped in a 30-year-old’s body.”

“But you’re my old granny fiancé,” he lovingly adds.
