Louise Redknapp shares rare look at home after Christmas transformation

Louise Redknapp has offered fans a glimpse inside her home after sharing a snap of her seasonal set-up.

The 47 year old rarely posts updates from inside her house but offered up a photo of her Christmas tree featuring giant silver baubles and warm white lights.

The former Eternal star lives in Surrey with her two sons Charley, 17, and Beau, 13 who she shares with ex, Jamie Redknapp, 48.

The family moved into the property after her split from ex-husband Jamie who recently welcomed baby boy Raphael with new wife Frida Andersson.

The singer admitted that she’d left the festivities to the last minute this year, as she told her Instagram followers: "Was a bit late getting the tree up this year but sorted."

The rest of the living room features cream carpets, charcoal walls and a cosy armchair which Louise has previously described as "studio apartment living."

Speaking at the launch of her Harveys furniture collection, she said: "I have a long unit, a big L-shape sofa… because I'm slightly OCD I like everything to match, so I have two big armchairs and a big central table, then a dining room table behind, so it's all very studio apartment living."

She told Ideal Home she liked to keep the colourscheme monochrome, saying: "I like a minimal look – I don’t have a lot of ‘stuff’, so central pieces like sofas and armchairs are key.

"I’m not massive on colour, but what I will do is have a dark floor, and a polished cement wall and introduce colour through my soft furnishings.

"I love art and good lighting – it is massively important. But I’m never going to have a pink wall, I don’t have the guts!"

While the star currently lives with her teenage sons, she previously told The Sun's Fabulous Magazine, how she's "really worried" about the day her boys move out.

Speaking about her eldest son potentially moving to study in the US, Louise admitted she would be sad to see him go.

She said: "It's really on my mind. I know I mustn't stand in his way and I've got to encourage him all the way.

"I said: 'Can you just go to New York? It doesn't take long to get there!' But knowing him it will be the furthest away place."

She added: "It sounds basic, but I've got two things that are really important to me right now: my kids, because I want to be a solid part of their life, and my work."
