Female favourites

Three women are fighting it out as the early favourites in the Villa. South-Wales-based payroll administrator Anna-May Robey, Luton-born makeup artist Lana Jenkins, and ring-girl Olivia Hawkins can’t be split, with all three being available at 3/1.

Self-confessed chatterbox Anna-May admits that she has a habit of falling in love quickly, a quality that Jenkins shares. Robey, however, admits that she does get bored easily, which is something that will no doubt lead to some exciting television.

Olivia Hawkins is sure to get hearts racing in the Villa. Hawkins is no stranger to the spotlight, having acted as a body double for Michelle Keegan and Emma Watson and worked as a ring girl for KSI – a resume that is sure to grab the attention of the lads on the Island.

Male favourites

The early odds for the men are also tight, with farmer Will Young and teacher Kai Fagan both battling it out as early favourites.

Will Young, not to be mixed up with the singer, is a farmer from Buckinghamshire, and if his introduction video to go by, he will be bringing some cheeky fun to the Villa this winter. He can be found at 3/1 with bet365.

Hunky high-school teacher Kai Fagan ticks plenty of the boxes needed for a successful time in the Villa. The PE and science teacher is also a rugby player and shares roots with Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford, something he will no doubt be leaning on to impress the ladies.

Of course, there is still plenty that could hold both men back, with Will claiming he has commitment issues, and Kai admitting that he has very high standards.

Airport security office Shaq Muhammad is also fancied by some bookmakers, coming in at 4/1 with BetVictor. The 24-year-old has admitted that he has a habit of falling in love hard and fast though, and anyone who has watched Love Island in the past knows that this can make or break a contestant’s chances.

Bookies are yet to offer odds on potential islander, Tom Clare. The Macclesfield FC player will go head to head with Ellie Spence, a 25-year-old accountant in a public vote to determine who enters the Villa.

Next couple to be evicted: No reality TV show would be complete without some dramatic eliminations. The elimination markets are often the most popular for Love Island fans to bet on, and they tend to open when the first episode airs.

Both members of the winning couple to enter on opening night: Long-time fans of Love Island know just how quickly the line-up on the show can change. In fact, only three times in the show’s history have the winners both entered on night one, with the most recent time being five years ago in 2018. The latest a winner has entered is day 44, which highlights just how unpredictable the show can be.
