Love Island stars hourly wages set to skyrocket as they leave villa

Love Island2022 is almost at an end and to mark the final week in the villa, the contestants allwent on romantic final dates.

With romance in the air, many viewers were left in tears after fan favouritesDavide and Ekin-Su declared their love for each otherwhile being serenaded by vocalist Alfie Boe.

Elsewhere,Paige and Adam made vows to each other for life outside the villashowing how strong their romance is after such a short time together.

While those remaining in the villa look as though they’ve found love, many will be leaving with more than just a plus one astheir earnings are set to skyrocket . We take a look at the impact the time in the villa is set to have on this year’s stars based on their social media following with marketing agency Honcho.

Luca Bish

Fishmonger Luca Bish from Brighton reportedly has an average hourly salary of £12.

Considering he’s now at 780,000 Instagram followers, he has a potential earning rate of at least £6,570.50, equating to 547.5 hours of work.

Paige Thorne

Welsh paramedic Paige Thorne is said to have worked for the NHS for the past two years, so given her experience and position, her hourly salary stands at about £19.16 per hour.

She has risen to become one of the most popular Islanders and boasts a total of 854,000 followers.

Now, if the 24-year-old became an influencer, she could charge over £7,130 per sponsored post, which equates to 372 hours of work.

Davide Sanclimenti

Davide Sanclimenti runs his own electric shisha business, so he’s thought to earn £13.94 per hour on average.

He’s fast become a fan favourite in the villa thanks to his one liners and has now got 629,000 followers, earning approximately £5,040.50 per Instagram post.

Indiyah Polack

As a waitress and model, Indiyah Polack is said to have an average hourly salary of £11.50.

Now that she’s got 427,000 followers, she can charge brands £3,643.50 for each upload. If it were not for Love Island, it would take her 316.8 hours to earn the same amount.

Danica Taylor

Danica has about 241,000 Instagram followers, so her earning potential per post has risen to at least £2,018.50.

Dami Hope

Dami is a microbiologist and earns a reported £37.5k a year in his role. His earnings based on his huge social media presence could earn him around £2,800 per post.

Tasha Ghouri

Like Danica, Tasha is a dancer, though she’s also a model.

Thanks to her Love Island exposure, she can bring in £3,552.50 per post with her 425,000 followers.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu

The actress has risen to become a fan favourite of this series. As an actress in Turkish soaps including Kuzey Yildiz she reportedly earns £16,000 per soap episode she stars in.

As the first Islander to reach 1.2 million followers, her social earnings per post currently stand at £9,518.


Gemma Owen

Gemma follows Ekin-Su at number two with the potential to request £8,796.50 per post as she now has one million followers on the gram.

She’s currently an International Dressage Rider and could earn around £136 per hour before the villa.
