Love Island’s Sanam Harrinanan’s transformation before the villa as she finds love with Kai

Getting ready to head into the Love Island villa is not a simple task, with every islander wanting to look a 10/10 for their first appearance on TV.

It’s well known that most of the contestants usually undergo big makeovers, from overhauling their workout routines to having several beauty enhancements.

Casa Amor bombshell Sanam Harrinanan is one of the new girls calling the gorgeous South African villa home for the winter series.

The 24-year-old social worker walked into the villa alongside five other girls looking for love last week.

Sanam looks quite different compared to some of her first Instagram posts, but that’s to be expected now that she’s in her mid-20s and some of her posts date back to 2018, when she would have been just 20 years old.

The stunning bombshell has kept a couple of things the same over the years, including her sweet dimples, thick eyebrows and long flowing dark curls.

It looks like the social worker might have had a chop before going into the villa, previously sharing selfies of her wavy hair falling nearly to her waist.

However, now, her dark brunette locks are more manageable in the villa and fall just below her shoulders.

We can also see that her style has evolved over the last four years, while she previously stunned in black going out dresses or plain skinny jeans, she’s recently been sharing outfit pictures with more out-there colours and prints.

Sanam, who hails from Bedford, hasn’t yet revealed whether she’s had any specific treatments done but she does follow some of the clinics offering services like lash extensions and laser hair removal.

One thing is for sure, her beautiful looks have definitely turned the head of PE teacher Kai Fagan.

When crunch time came for the Islanders to decide if they’re sticking with their original couple or choosing one of the newbies, Kai was the first to pick Sanam.

He revealed he had a stronger connection with her in a dramatic recoupling that saw his current partner Olivia Hawkins visibly fuming despite her also choosing to recouple with Maxwell Samuda.

Tonight’s show will see Olivia, 27, demanding an apology from Kai, 24, after he called her ‘fake’ at the firepit during the recoupling – but he refuses.

Olivia says: “I wanted to pull you for a chat because when I went to Casa things were good, things were really good and I just want to know what made you have these feelings.

"Thinking I’m not genuine, that I’m fake, I just want to know where that’s come from.”

Kai says: “I feel like you’re happy with Max, I’m happy with Sanam."

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
