Man downs drink from partners menstrual cup after mistaking it for shot glass

A TikTok user has revealed the mortifying moment he mistook his girlfriend’s menstrual cup for a shot glass, using it to knock back a drink.

The lad, who goes by username @dduche, discovered the cup and took to TikTok to ask people to explain to him what it was.

“What kind of make-up device is my girlfriend using?” he asks. “Is this for, like, application? No.

“Why does it have a tail? This feels illegal to have.”

The man then decides it could be a “portable shot glass” and tests out his theory by drinking from it.

He hilariously thinks the “tail” is to “wring it out so nobody knows what's in there”.

“Ladies please help me out and tell me what this is in the comments,” the TikToker adds.

“I think it's a shot glass, but I think I'm wrong.”

The video has since been seen more than 28 million times and, sure enough, plenty of women flooded the comments section to point out his big mistake.

One person said: “How do you tell a man that he just drank out of and played with a menstrual cup?"

Another wrote: “I can't count how many times I yelled 'NOOOOO' at my cell while watching this.”

And a third joker said: “Let’s give this man a standing ovulation.”

Menstrual cups, made of silicone or latex rubber, catch and collect women’s menstrual fluid by being inserted into the vagina.

Thankfully, the TikToker says he is now fully aware of the object’s true purpose.

It comes after an influencer shared two snaps to show the reality of bloating during periods.

Georgia Clarke was praised by many of her 724,000 followers for the posts, in which she wrote: "Bloating is human.

"Let's be real, every female knows that the first days of your cycle means one thing – bloated AF.

"I know it's hard to not look at yourself when you're bloated and feel upset but remember it's natural for your body to do this."
