Mariah Carey’s brother has filed a defamation suit against the pop star for her tell-all memoir — following a similar case brought by Carey’s sister last month.

Morgan Carey, 61, says the “Always Be My Baby” singer — who is ten years his junior — falsely portrayed him as violent when they were growing up in her book “The Meaning of Mariah Carey,” published in September.

“Many passages about [Morgan] in the book are false and defamatory, personally invasive and painful, and have caused serious damage to his reputation and to his personal and business affairs,” Morgan’s Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit from Wednesday alleges.

The brother — who now lives in Maui, Hawaii — claims he lost out on a film project that he was in negotiations for because of Carey’s claims, the court papers charge.

Morgan — who’s had a successful career including as a celebrity fitness trainer — “brings this action more in sorrow and disappointment in his sister’s betrayals and malicious falsehoods than in anger at them,” the suit alleges.

Morgan highlights a slew of passages in the suit that refer to him, insisting they are nothing but “mere gossip and of prurient interest.”

He claims the passages make him look like he was very violent toward their father, when in reality, his father was abusive.

“The violence was entirely one-sided, with the plaintiff being the recipient of his misplaced rage,” the court documents claim.

Carey also claimed that her older brother once “slammed” their mom into the wall, which Morgan claims is untrue, as everyone knows how close the mom and son are, the court filing alleges.

Morgan also says it was “a betrayal and deep hurtful violation” that Carey disclosed that he was once sent to a kids psychiatric facility — making him out to be the problem in his and their dad’s relationship.

The suit claims that Carey also made it seem like her brother was trying “to extort money from his sister” in an excerpt when she recounts how Morgan lent her $5,000 to record her breakout album.

“I paid back five thousand times over,” Carey said of the loan in her book. “And I would continue to pay and pay.”

Morgan also alleges it was defamatory when Carey called him “sometimes drug dealing, been-in-the-system, drunk-ass brother,” the court papers show.

Hes’ suing for unspecified damages.
