The much-loved favourite will be back on menus from March 24, featuring the signature soft serve ice cream with lashings of Creme Egg pieces, drizzled generously with an irresistible fondant sauce.

A price hasn't been confirmed for the relaunch of the new Creme Egg McFlurry, but if the past is anything to go by – it has previously been 99p for a small and £1.39 for the regular size.

Although there are mostly excitable reviews, many McDonald's fans aren’t too happy about the new addition possibly replacing the Raspberry Flake McFlurry, which has built a cult following of its own.

One user begrudgingly said: "They’ve taken the raspberry flake McFlurry off for this!?"

"I love the raspberry flake one best which is on at the moment". Another said.

The burger is made with a crispy fried chicken breast, cheese, hot and spicy mayo and caramelised onion compote and more mouth-watering toppings.
