McDonald's is selling breakfast pancakes for just 99p today

MCDONALD'S is selling pancakes for 99p until 11am this morning.

The breakfast favourite usually costs £2.29, meaning you'll save £1.30 thanks to the offer.

McDonald's has reduced the price to mark Pancake Day, which is today, February 16.

You get three pancakes per order, plus syrup and butter to melt on top.

The 99p price is only available when you order through the My McDonald's app, which is free to download on Android or Apple devices.

You should see the pancakes under the "Deals" section of the app – click on this, and the offer will be applied to your basket.

How to find your nearest McDonald’s

MCDONALD’S has just under 1,300 branches across the UK.

To find your nearest one, you can use the free McDonald's restaurant locator tool.

Enter your postcode and the webpage will bring up your nearest branches.

Or if you're using the app, you'll be asked to enter your postcode to find your local McDonald's.

As app orders aren't available for home delivery, you'll need to visit your nearest McDonald's to pick up your breakfast.

The app will ask you to choose your local McDonald's, all of which should be participating in the deal.

You can also use the McDonald's restaurant locator tool to find your nearest branch.

If you're tempted, you'll need to make sure you order before 11am, as this is when McDonald's stops serving breakfast.

The deal is available for both new and existing app users.

McDonald's also sells pancakes with sausage, but these aren't included in the 99p deal.

These are the same as regular pancakes but they contain an additional sausage patty.

Before you order, keep in mind one portion of pancakes from McDonald's contains 477 calories.

To put that into perspective, men are recommended to consume no more than 2,500 calories each day, while it's 2,000 for women.

McDonald's first announced the pancake promotion yesterday evening through a tweet on its Twitter page.

It offered every 99th person who responded to that tweet free pancakes, but it has since finished confirming all its winners.

McDonald's revealed that it would stop being walk-in takeaways at the start of lockdown, but it started to bring this service back at some locations last week.

It comes as the fast food chain added six new items to its menu for a limited time, including the Grand Big Mac.

Here are six changes Maccies fans should know about when getting their fast food hit.
