McDonald’s offering loved-up Brits tables for romantic Valentine’s Day meals

It's almost Valentine's Day which means loved-up Brits are gearing up for a romantic celebration.

Restaurants up and down the country will be taking bookings up until February 14 with couples securing tables for a meal out.

But if you're planning a chilled out Valentine's Day this year, you know McDonald's has always got your back.

The chain in Chesterfield is promoting an event with tables on offer for Brits who fancy a burger and chips, reports Derby Telegraph.

A poster in the restaurant read: "Come and join us for a romantic meal.

"Your table will be set, the meal will be made and you'll be able to treat your special someone."

In order for couples to secure a table, the restaurant is asking that they make a £5 donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The donation only secures a reservation of the table, who will then be allocated a 45-minute time slot to enjoy some grub.

Daily Star has approached McDonald's to find out if other UK restaurants are taking part.

The popular chain has released a number of new tasty additions, from the Chicken Big Mac to the McPlant burger.

Some firm favourites, like the Chicken Legend, will be making a comeback.

The Chicken Big Mac costs £4.09 and it's already an option on the Australian menu with it set to be popular among Brits.

Meanwhile beef lovers will rejoice at the news of the Double Big Mac making its grand return this week.
