Speaking exclusively to OK! online about her recent collaboration with WaterWipes, Millie explained how Sienna was put in a brace to hold her hips apart which made feeding her near impossible.
“The hip brace forced her legs out into a frog position to hold them in place, so the sockets develop properly which made her uncomfortable to hold to feed and breastfeeding just became even more difficult,
“It was stressing both of us out, so we decided to try her on prescribed formula, and she was much happier,” Millie explained.

The Mayo Clinic defines hip dysplasia as "a hip socket that doesn't fully cover the ball portion of the upper thighbone. This allows the hip joint to become partially or completely dislocated."
Thankfully, Sienna is now free from her brace which Millie said worked to correct her hip totally.
Millie has no regrets about her decision to formula feed and says that the most important factor is that your baby is fed.

“I didn’t worry about the reaction to stopping breastfeeding, all the way through I’d wanted to breastfeed, but the main thing I wanted to share is that the most important thing is that your baby is fed. Some of my friends have breastfed, some haven’t – all their babies are fine.
“It’s completely different for every Mum, and there is no one way for anyone. It’s an individual choice and it’s about supporting mothers about what they want to do,"
“There is a lot of pressure at every stage when it comes to decisions – whether it’s breastfeeding, or weaning, crawling, baby proofing. It’s a bit of a minefield, so we’ve just done what feels right from us and gone with our gut instinct.”
Mille went on to credit her following on social media for helping her through the early days of Sienna’s diagnosis.
“We went in for a routine scan, and came out with her in a brace, and I didn’t know what to do.
"But then I had such an amazing response on social media from other Mums sharing their photos, stories, saying the hip brace works.
"It made me feel so much less alone and really helped me. When I share online, it’s 100% a two-way thing,” she said.
