In the past week alone, Prince Harry has given bombshell interviews to ITV, CBS, Good Morning America and People magazine.
But following on from the Duke of Sussex’s publicity blitz to promote his new memoir Spare, the Duchess of York has also given a new interview.
This evening, Sarah Ferguson shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse from her Retro Radio interview recording, which has yet to air, in Budapest this week.
Taking to Instagram, she praised Abaházi Csaba for being ‘such a great host’ and thanked the station team for welcoming her to the studio.

The interview appears to have been promoting Sarah’s upcoming novel ‘A Most Intriguing Lady’, which is due to be released this spring.
In one photo, the mother-of-two is seen signing one of her books with a black pen on the studio recording desk.
In another, Sarah appears cheerful as she chats with the show’s host Abaházi, who stands across from her.
She captioned the post: ‘ We had such good fun in the studio recording for Retro Radio! Don’t mind me while I reminisce. Thank you for having me Retro Radio and thank you, Abaházi Csaba, for being such a great host!’

‘Delightful Duchess,’ one fan wrote in response.
A second added: ‘Anytime you fancy being on my show I’d be delighted to have your company.’
A third wrote: ‘Well done Duchess.’
Sarah’s new radio special follows Prince Harry’s recent media blitz – which began on Sunday with an interview with ITV’s Tom Bradby.
During the 90-minute special, the father-of-two accused his family of being ‘complicit’ in the ‘pain and suffering’ inflicted on his wife and compared them to ‘abusers’.
Prince Harry insists that he ‘never intended to hurt his family’ with the contents of his bombshell new memoir Spare – claiming he simply wanted to tell his ‘truth’
During an interview with 60 Minutes, Harry said that he had no choice but to publicly air his grievances about the royals because when he has done so privately, stories have been ‘leaked’
Hours later, the Duke’s interview with Anderson Cooper aired in the US – in which he claimed he has ‘never intended to hurt his family’.
The next day, Prince Harry told Good Morning America that the Queen ‘knew how hard it was’ for him but hinted the late Monarch was not ‘in a position’ to change his and Meghan’s role in the royal family.
Following on from this, Prince Harry’s interview with People magazine – where he claimed he had to reveal his 25 Taliban kills for his ‘own healing’ – hit newstands.
On Tuesday night, Prince Harry appeared on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show and featured in a skit with Tom Hanks poking fun at the Royal Family with trumpet fanfare and heralds in uniforms.
Sarah’s new radio interview comes after she paid tribute to her former mother-in-law the Queen in a New Year’s poem.
The poem read: ‘As the primroses appear on the banks of Windsor so clear, new beginnings, new paths, new rainbows to see, you are tucked in our hearts even though apart – so welcome 2023 knowing you are free. Happy New Year.’
Prince Harry kicked off the latest in a long line of TV interviews by ridiculing royal tradition and mocking the monarchy – with the help of Hollywood A-lister Tom Hanks
‘The presents that keeps giving…’: Sarah Ferguson (pictured) posted a series of heartwarming photos with the Queen’s corgis on the morning of her 63rd birthday in October 2022
She then captioned the poem: ‘We will miss you always dearest friend. You remain in our hearts. Happy New Year.’
On her 63rd birthday in October, Sarah snuggled up with Queen’s corgis and called Muick and Sandy the ‘presents that keep giving’.
Although Sarah and Prince Andrew got divorced in 1996, the Duchess is thought to have remained close to the late Queen.
She spent Christmas with her in 2021 and she also now looks after two of the late Queen’s corgis – Muick and Sandy – alongside her estrange husband. The ex-couple both still live at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Speaking on the Tea with Twiggy podcast as she promoted her Mills & Boon romance novel Her Heart For A Compass, the Duchess previously paid tribute to the Queen for being ‘modern, flexible and forgiving.’
Sarah compared their relationship to the one she had with her own mother Susan Barrantes, who passed away in September 1998, saying: ‘I think to myself that honestly my mother-in-law has been more of a mother to me than my mother.’
