If you’ve ever had a roommate steal your food out of the fridge you’ll know how annoying it is.
But it seems people haven’t got the memo that it’s not the done thing – even if you forgot your lunch.
And, as proof that it’s a bad idea one Twitter user shared their mum’s cheeky method of handling a colleague who took her eggs from the fridge.
He explained that his mother kept raw eggs in a carton in the fridge at work which she cooked when she got hungry.
After her food went missing she put up a note in the office.

He said: "So my mum saw that her eggs were missing at work so she posted this note…
"Later some dude came to her stressed as f*** for the antidote thinking he was going to die."
The note read: “Attention attention attention!
"To whom it may concern: I had a carton of eggs in the fridge and it's gone!
"Whoever took those eggs, please know that those eggs are not chicken eggs and are not meant for consumption."

People cracked up at the cheeky trick.
One man asked: "How arrogant and self-important do you have to be to take someone else’s food from the work fridge? I don’t get people sometimes…."
Another replied: "I don’t understand how anyone goes in a work fridge and just grabs someone else’s food."
A third joked: "There’s something so beautiful about this level of pettiness."
And, it seems the trick worked as the thief agreed to pay the mum back for her eggs.
