My best friend’s baby could be mine or our bisexual lover’s – The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: MY best friend says she’s having my baby but what she doesn’t know is that I’ve had a fling with her boyfriend as well.

I work in a call centre. I’m a guy of 25. The girl is 23 and we shared our lunch hour each day.

A new guy was recruited to work on our floor. He’s 27 and very good-looking.

My friend was flirting with him and I found myself secretly longing to date him myself, although I’d never before even fancied a guy.

Her dream came true at a Friday night drink down the pub. She got off with him at the end of the night.

She soon became absolutely fixated on him and I found myself having lunch on my own.

A week or so later I pranged my car on a post in the car park just as this guy was leaving. He came over to see what he could do to help. I was annoyed with myself for being stupid but he said: “Calm down, mate. Let’s go for a drink.”

We sat in the pub and as time went on I felt very attracted to him. He asked me whether I’d ever been with a guy before.

I said no and he said: “Let’s have some more drinks, leave our cars here and then get a cab back to mine.”

I didn’t need asking twice. He kissed me passionately as soon as his front door was closed. We had wonderful sex that was both tender and fierce at the same time.

The next night my friend told me she was upset that her boyfriend appeared to have changed and he didn’t seem keen any more.

She then admitted she fancied me. I then didn’t know who I liked more — her or him. We ended up having sex that night, even though she was still seeing the other guy and we hadn’t any protection with us.

She has now told me she is pregnant and it’s mine.

What do I do?

I don’t want to tell her I’ve been having sex with her man, nor do I want to tell our mutual lover that she’s been cheating on him with me and she’s expecting my baby.

Whether or not your friend continues with the pregnancy is her decision but, as she’s been having sex with you and the other guy, the paternity could well be in doubt.

You’d need to arrange DNA tests once the baby is born.
