Top Brit porn star Jess West has hit out at those who call her a “slut” for her line of work – while praising her adult star partner a “legend” for doing the same job.

Jess, 36, from Essex, was speaking exclusively to the Daily Star about the issues she faces in her line of work.

From stalkers and online creeps to sexism, it's safe to say that Jess has had to deal with many issues since breaking into the business around 15 years ago.

Jess is famous for being on the television screens of horny Brits via Babestation and Sexstation.

And with the public exposure – no pun intended – comes fans accosting her in the street, in often not so nice ways.

She said: “I do get negative things.

“Like I get told that I'm just a whore or a slag, while guys think I'm going to f**k everyone who comes along.

“They are stereotypical, but you that is kind of the view that you do get.

“I mean, there's not everyone, obviously, you do get people that do kind of realise that the industry is trying to change now.

“Generally, we kind of get a sort of a negative view, whereas Demitri gets a completely different view to me.

“He gets told that he's a legend.

“Anyone who walks down the street, and recognises him says things like like 'oh, well done, mate, you're a legend'.

“We do kind of get treated differently.”

Jess, who has won many top industry awards, lives with her partner and fellow adult star Demetri Simstud.

The couple also have three huge dogs for protection.

She pointed to the world's view of sex work as to why some feels that she “deserves” the abuse she gets.

Although she doesn't do in-person work, most of her work is either on television or online.

“The world looks at us and thinks that we deserve it in a way, but because we always like to look at things in a negative light,” she explained.

“We never really get much sympathy or kind of help that a normal person who's not in this industry would get.

“We get treated differently, and comments like 'you're naked online, so of course people are going to stalk or abuse you'.

“It can be hard to deal with and it does upset me.

“If I'm having a bad day or something like that, I just think about the fact that I'm doing a job just like anyone else but I don't get the same kind of treatment.

“Demetri doesn't get any bad comments ever, but I get them constantly ever day.

“We do the same job, but he's a 'legend' and I'm a 'whore'.”
