It seems like air fryers are all the rage at the moment, with Brits using it to cook healthier chips and other goodies.
However, one nutritionist slammed the cooking gadget – saying it turned her diet 'beige' and made her 'put on 5lbs'
Food expert Lowri Turner says she "couldn't wait" to get her hands on an air fryer. However, she ditched it after just one month.

Writing for Femail, Lowri said: "Even as a nutritionist, I didn't foresee the pitfalls.
"Yet a month in, the air fryer drained all colour from my family's diet.
"That glossy black box takes up valuable space on my kitchen counter and disgorges a steady stream of meals that are entirely beige."
She added: "There are chips and chicken nuggets and chips and hash browns and, yes, more chips.
"Yes, they're cooked with a bit less fat than usual and come out crisp, but I am still gripped by the shame of this dire new diet."
She slammed the fact that air fryers cook "ultra-processed foods", such as anything battered or in breadcrumbs. Lowri said these kinds of foods are "stuffed full of salt, additives and fat".
Lowri claims she used to eat chips once a month, but it became "every other day" after getting an air fryer.
She even said she "put on 5lbs" after getting the gadget.
Despite her claims, it seems like people are loving air fryers at the moment, with the number being sold increasing by 3,000% in the last year.
We'll just have to see whether it's a fad or here to stay we guess!
