A popular nutritionist has revealed exactly what she eats in a day – from savoury waffles to delicious sushi bowls.
Ellie Watson, from the Gold Coast, better known as ‘Elsas Wholesome Life’, combines fresh ingredients with fun flavours for easy to make family meals.
On this day Ellie began her morning with an iced coffee and paired it with savoury waffles topped with avocado and homemade baked beans.
To make the waffles she simply whipped up a batter and cooked it inside her waffle maker, she then sliced an avocado to put on top, along with a lemon wedge, cheese and baked beans

To make the waffles she simply whipped up a batter consisting of oat milk, apple cider vinegar, flour, baking powder, salt, hemp seeds and maple syrup.
She then poured the batter into her waffle maker and cooked them until ready, then sliced an avocado to put on top, along with a lemon wedge, cheese and beans.
For lunch Ellie created DIY sushi bowls packed full of shredded carrot, sushi rice, shredded tofu, avocado, egg, sesame seeds, seaweed and hot sauce.
The mum-of-one creates meals for her son Bowie by incorporating his favourite vegetarian foods with new ingredients as it allows him to experiment.
For dinner the nutritionist created a vegan friendly chicken parmigiana with plant-based schnitzels and traditional toppings.
She paired the vegan parmigiana with carrot, corn, broccoli and homemade sweet potato fries on the side.
