Parents of UK’s biggest family address rumours they might have Radford baby 23

The parents of Britain’s biggest family have told their 21 children that they won’t be having any more babies.

The Radford Family, who are based in Morecambe, have had 22 children, with 19 still living in their huge family home.

A new Channel 5 show ‘22 Kids and Counting’ is set to follow the family once more, and although previews hinted at them expanding their brood further, it looks like they’ve decided to stop at 22.

In the first episode of the series, the two parents Sue and Noel called the entire family into the living room, before making the big confession.

“Right kids, we’ve got you all in here because we’ve heard the rumours going around the house. You’re all sort of thinking that me and mum are going to have another baby,” Noel began.

“So, we’re going to put the record straight. Mum and me (sic) both decided: no more, we’re done. There’s no more babies, no more brothers and sisters for you lot, we’re happy with what we’ve got.

“We can spend more time together, just live life to the full now.

“Little Heidi is the last of the bunch, the last of the Radford clan.”

However, with previous statements in the past that each child would be their last, not all of the Radford children were convinced by their parents’ suggestion.

“You’ve said multiple times that this would be your last one. Can we get it in writing?,” joked Luke, one of the couple’s eldest children.

The couple’s journey to an enormous family began in 1994, when Sue gave birth to eldest child Christoper at the age of 14.

The family’s size continued to grow year on year, until they were struck by tragedy in 2014 when their 17th baby Alfie was stillborn.

So, having decided against having any more children, in the new episode, Sue can be seen taking old baby clothes to be donated to a baby bank for new parents.

This bombshell decision means that Heidi, Sue and Noel’s 22nd baby, born in April 2020, will be the final addition to the Radford household.

Sue and Noel are parents to Chris, 32, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 26, Jack, 24, Daniel, 22, Luke, 21, Millie, 20, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 16, Aimee, 15, Josh, 14, Max, 12, Tillie, 11, Oscar, 10, Casper, nine, Hallie, six, Phoebe, five, Archie, four, Bonnie, three, and Heidie, one.
