Here at OK! we’re lovers of celebrity wedding dresses so we thought to take a trip down memory lane and look at some of the previous footballers' wives gowns that they chose for their big day.
Christine Lampard
Starting with one of attendee's at the wedding, Frank and Christine Lampard tied the knot themselves back in 2015.
The 42-year-old opted for an intricate long-sleeved lace gown by much-loved designer Suzanne Neville.
The dress featured a cinched in waist with a tulle fishtail skirt plunging neckline and elegantly finished off the look with a delicate lace veil.
Coleen Rooney
Coleen Rooney married football player Wayne in 2008 in an extravagant wedding that was covered by OK!.
Coleen made sure to hold no expenses as she wowed in a white Marchesa gown which was a cream strapless organza dress with an embroidered bodice and cascading layered skirt.
The dress was allowed to speak for itself as she finished off the look with a short and simple veil.
The dress was said to be worth whopping £301,840 at the time.
Victoria Beckham
Victoria and David Beckham tied the not all the way back on July 4 1999 at Luttrellstown Castle near Dublin, Ireland.
Of course Victoria didn't go simple for her big day as she channelled her inner fashionista that she has become to be known for and opted for a beautiful Vera Wang gown.
The stunning dress came with a 20-foot train and is said to be worth around £72,000.
Who could forget the iconic outfit change where the couple stepped out in matching purple outfits with their son Brooklyn.
Cheryl
Two years after the forming of hit girl group Girls Aloud, Cheryl met football player Ashley Cole in 2004 which led to the pair getting married in 2006.
Despite them divorcing in 2010, we still dream about Cheryl's ultimate Roberto Cavalli wedding dress that saw the singer stun in an off white, champagne figure hugging fishtail style that was heavily embellished with crystals.
Who could also forget how Ashley chose to match his blushing bride in a similar coloured satin suit.
For Cheryl's second wedding to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in 2014, she decided to go down the unconventional route in a black dress by British label Ralph & Russo.
Cheryl still managed to ooze glamour just like she always does in a simple silhouette that saw a velvet and silk bodice and a sheer silk-chiffon skirt.
Kate Ferdinand
Former TOWIE star Kate Wright married renowned footballer Rio Ferdinand in a beautiful ceremony in 2019.
The couple jetted to Turkey for their sun filled wedding and of course Kate looked every inch beautiful which very nearly didn't happen as she still didn't have a dress until a week before the wedding.
The reality star worked with The Wedding Club who fixed the blonde with a fabulous mermaid style dress from designer Berta Bridal.
Abbey Clancy
Model Abbey Clancy married Peter Crouch on 30 June 2011 at the Stapleford Park hotel in Leicestershire.
Being involved in the fashion industry, there was no doubt that Abbey would flaw everyone with her wedding attire.
For the ceremony, the bride wore a white figure-hugging Giles Deacon dress which saw intricate lace detail on the bodice which then flowed into a layered fish-tail skirt.
