Prince Edward joined Britain’s highly respected actors and TV personalities at a fundraising gala in London today.
The 57-year-old Earl of Wessex, who recently returned from a skiing trip in St Moritz with his wife, Sophie, their two children and a group of friends, looked dapper as he teamed a burgundy velvet blazer with tartan print trousers.
He appeared in good spirits at the National Youth Theatre Nostalgic Fantastic Fundraising Gala, where he was seen dancing and clapping along to music alongside stars like Barbara Broccoli and Rosamund Pike.
Meanwhile the royal also posed for a snap alongside former Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page at the event this evening.

Delighted to attend the charitable event, Prince Edward spoke animatedly with students at the organisation before taking the time to join activities including dancing with Rosamund and Barbara.
He also stopped to pose for photographs alongside stars including actors Regé, Daisy Lewis and TV executive Dawn Airey.
Regé-Jean looked equally dapper in a charcoal suit, while Daisy opted for a striking red dress and Dawn appeared sophisticated in a black outfit teamed with a simple turquoise blazer.
The National Youth Theatre has spent 60 years nurturing the talent of young people and championing the importance of live theatre.

The charitable organisation provides onstage and backstage opportunities to people from a diverse range of backgrounds, while giving them access to collaborate with industry leading professionals.
Dame Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig and Colin Firth are among the notable former members that have attended.
Despite their A-list alumni, The National Youth Theatre claims to not be a ‘star-making factory’ but rather a place to guide young people to develop creatively while learning to work as a team.
Thousands of people have engaged with the organisation since they were established in 1956 as the first youth theatre in the world.
This evening’s gala ran alongside an auction aimed at raising essential funds needed to empower young people and the arts.
Among the 88 items up for grabs were tickets for a selection of West End shows, books signed by celebrities as well as mini breaks and luxury experience days.

The royal recently returned from a family holiday with Sophie, the Countess of Wessex and their children James Viscounts Severn, 14, and Lady Louise, 18.
The Wessexes are keen skiers and often holiday on the Swiss slopes; in 2016 they were spotted arriving at St. Moritz in a £46million private jet, and in 2020 on a £49million Gulfstream G650, which costs in the region of £24,000 to charter for a two-hour flight.
St Moritz is something of a celebrity haunt for die-hard skiers, frequented by the likes of John Travolta, Liz Hurley and Ivana Trump, as well as a string of royals.
