Camilla left ‘intimidated’ by Princess Anne says royal expert
Princess Anne, 70, has also attended events with her sister-in-law Camillia Parker Bowles, 73. Commenting on their body language, an expert suggested they have a good friendship.
Princess Anne has been married twice, first tying the knot with Mark Phillips in 1973.
After the couple separated she married Timothy Laurence and they have been married since December 1992.
Many years before she tied the knot, however, Princess Anne had a brief romance with Andrew Parker Bowles.
He later went on to date and marry Camilla, Duchess of Cambridge, and they were together until 1995.

Camilla has been part of the Royal Family since her wedding to Prince Charles in 2005 and she seems to get on well with Princess Anne.
Despite sharing an ex, the royal women have a close relationship, body language expert Judi James claimed.
She stated: “Given their past histories, with Anne having dated Camilla’s ex husband, the relationship between Anne and Camilla might have been difficult.
“But in fact the two women seem very tolerant of one another to the point of often looking like old friends.”
The expert suggested their friendship may be surprising and different to the norm, not just because of their dating histories, but as Princess Anne does not always show affection in public.
“The Queen’s daughter is a woman who has often appeared to keep a polite and sometimes frosty-looking distance from some of the royal wives,” Judi continued.
“Showing signals of what looked like easy-going friendship and shared fun with Camilla, who can often appear tense and rather anxious in public, did seem like a first.
“Anne has never shown signs of being particularly close to her brother Charles, but she does seem to share a natural friendship that could even border on a daughter and mother bond with Camilla.”
Princess Anne also seems to have maintained her friendship with Andrew Parker Bowles.
The pair have been spotted chatting at various royal events over the years.
The expert added: “While not exactly a ‘BOGOF’ deal, the Parker-Bowleses did provide an odd quartet-styled relationship for Charles and his sister Anne.
“Everyone knows how the Charles/Camilla romance panned out, but rather than marrying her own Parker-Bowles, Anne ended up with first Mark and then her current husband Tim.
“However her body language with Andrew does hint that, like her brother’s emotions for his wife, there are at least some enduring bonds of friendship and affection between them.”
Judi claimed the pair have managed to keep a good friendship and, like with Camilla, Princess Anne is happy to show affection with Andrew in public.
She continued: “Anne looks relaxed and engaged with Andrew and his body language over the years has often worn the air of a man engaging in some gentle, flattering flirtation.
“Like his ex-wife he seems to have the skills of being charming and fun and Anne responds with a good humour that is at odds with her often dour-looking facial expressions.”
