Ava Phillippe started 2023 “off with a bang.”

The 23-year-old daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe spent New Year’s Eve in the hospital after suffering what she described as “a pop” in her ankle.

“My clumsy self tried to hop over a (very large) rain puddle in heels 🙃,” Ava captioned an Instagram pic of herself taken from the emergency room Saturday night.

“Currently feeling quite blessed to have a superstar friend and ER buddy like @jadensanders_ in my life,” she added.

“She seriously kept me giggling for all the hours we waited & only left my side once to go get us some cozy, dry clothes. Love you, J. ♥️.”

Ava went on to tell her followers that she “will definitely” be adding “be gentler with my body” to her list of New Year’s resolutions.

“Feel free to share what you’re looking forward to in the new year or any resolutions you may have in the comments. I would love to read them while keeping my ankle propped up in bed!” she continued. “Wishing peace, love, & good health for all of you in 2023 ✨.”

In addition to Ava, the “Legally Blonde” star shares son Deacon, 19, with Ryan. Her former “Cruel Intentions” co-star is also dad to daughter Kai, 11, with ex Alexis Knapp.

Witherspoon recently spent Christmas with all three of her look-alike children.

The “Big Little Lies” star posted two family photos from their festive celebration via Instagram at the time, captioning it, “Wishing all of YOU a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our family to yours ! 🥰🎄✨.”
