Rory McIlroy has been golfing since a young age and is now one of the richest golf players in the world. Since his debut in 2010, Rory has become one of the most experienced and accomplished Ryder Cup players, with four wins under his belt. How much has he earned throughout his career?

Born in Holywood, Northern Ireland, it is said that Rory started playing golf as soon as he could walk, with his dad training him.
From an early age, he would go to the local golf club, becoming their youngest member at the age of seven.
He took part in his first major tournament at the Doral Golf Resort in Miami for boys aged nine and 10, with Rory winning it.
By the age of 15, he had won the Junior Ryder Cup in 2004 with the European team.

In 2007, he became a professional golfer and a year later, he had joined the ranks of the top 200 golfers in the world.
By the end of 2008, Rory had become the 39th ranked golfer in the world.
Rory has added to his bank balance with his several brand partnerships.
This includes his Nike deal, which was extended back in 2017.
The 10 year deal was said to be worth an enormous £150million.
Rory soon signed a second deal with TaylorMade, said to be worth a whopping £75million.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, the golden earned £35million between June 2017 and June 2018 from salary and endorsements.
Between 2018 and 2019, he was the sixth-highest paid athlete in the world, with the vast majority of his income coming from endorsements.
NBC Sports teamed up with Rory in 2019 to launch Golfpass, a digital subscription service aimed at helping golfers improve their game.
The GolfPass platform features more than 4,000 tips from coaches and costs around £70 per year.
Last year, he made it onto Forbes’ Celebrity 100 Earnings list, coming in at number 44.
In the same year, Rory returned to Number One in the World Gold Rankings, four years after his last name was on top.
In his personal life, the golfer married Erica Stoll back in 2017 and they have a daughter together called Poppy.
The family now reside in Jupiter, Florida, which is said to be worth £8.5million.
Another professional golf player who worth a fortune is Tiger Woods, said to be worth a staggering £600million.
His massive endorsements have helped him become one of the richest athletes ever.
He made his professional golf debut back in 1996 and has been playing ever since.
