Rumer Willis is processing her father Bruce Willis’ recent aphasia diagnosis by focusing on how much she adores and appreciates him.
“I love you Daddio, to the ๐ and Back,” the 33-year-old actress captioned an old family photo she posted to Instagram on Friday.
The throwback picture featured a toddler-aged Rumer and a much younger Bruce, who was carrying one of Rumer’s younger sisters.
In the shot, Rumer had her two pointer fingers in each corner of her mouth, pulling it wide open to make a funny face.
Her dad smiled and stood behind her — his full head of hair a total mess. But he looked happy as a clam with his two little girls.
“Thank you for teaching me to be so silly ๐,” Rumer added in the caption. “I love laughing with you.”
The “House Bunny” star is the legendary actor’s oldest of five daughters. He also shares Scout, 30, and Tallulah, 28, with ex-wife Demi Moore — who Page Six exclusively revealed on Friday is dating famed Eleven Madison Park restaurateur Daniel Humm.
With current wife Emma Heming, Bruce has Mabel, 9, and Evelyn, 7.
Together, the blended family broke the news on Wednesday that Bruce, 67, has aphasia.
Aphasia affects a person’s cognitive functions, including their ability to speak, write and understand both verbal and written language. It typically occurs after a stroke or head injury, though the “Die Hard” star’s family did not elaborate on his cause.
They simply said he would be “stepping away” from his decades-long career and asked for “continued love, compassion and support.”
As we reported, there was buzz Bruce was having “cognitive problems” on productions dating back to 2020 and that “everybody knew.”
Sources told us he was even using “earpieces” to have lines fed to him and “body doubles, not just for action [sequences], but for maximizing his screen time.”
Since announcing the diagnosis, Rumer has shared numerous photos from her childhood to her Instagram Story — all showing her with her doting dad.
She says the “exquisite outpouring of love” she’s received in the last few days has blown her away.
