A secret room hidden behind an unobtrusive cupboard door has left many people jealous when a homeowner shared a video of it on social media.
In a clip uploaded on TikTok by user @curly.k8 she stands in a bright hallway that looks completely ordinary then opens up a fitted cupboard door that is about knee height.
The door swings open to reveal not a little cupboard but an extended crawlspace.
As Kate goes further in, she shows the extent of the tunnel – which is not yet finished – and turns around to show that it has a little ladder leading up to a second level.
"The kids are going to love this!" she wrote in the caption.
Unsurprisingly, the impressive cubby-hole got a lot of attention on the video-sharing and it was watched more than 400,000 times and received 47,000 "likes".
One user commented: "I’m claustrophobic just looking at it."
"Are you kidding me? That looks like heaven! I WANT THAT," said a jealous-sounding fan of the idea.
Someone else enthused: "Love it pretty cool for the children."
Another person wrote: "That’s scary! That’s where you keep the bodies. Even the dog is like 'you first.'"

Some viewers joked it was like Harry Potter's cupboard under the stairs.
Meanwhile, other people have said it would be a good idea to have ventilation and the TikTok user confirmed they were going to add an air vent to make it safe.
Secret rooms have become a trend on the video-sharing app with people using the same "sound" to reveal how they've made hideaways in their homes.
But some people didn't even custom-make their hidden rooms and discovered them quite by chance.
One family found a trapdoor under their stairs and the room below was full of vintage bottles of wine ready to pop and antiques.
