“Shahs of Sunset” star Mike Shouhed’s fiancée, Paulina Ben-Cohen, came forward and identified herself as the victim of his domestic violence arrest.
“Paulina’s primary focus is on keeping herself and her children safe,” Ben-Cohen’s attorney, Joshua Ritter, said in a statement to Page Six on her behalf.
“She supports the work that the police and the City Attorney’s Office have done and she continues to cooperate with them, while looking forward to putting this sad situation behind her and moving on with her life.”
Page Six has reached out to see if she and Shouhed since have ended their relationship.
Page Six reported Tuesday morning that Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer slapped the Bravolebrity with 14 criminal charges, including domestic violence.
His pretrial hearing is scheduled for Aug. 29, 2022.
Shouhed, 43, is also facing weapons charges, including criminal storage of a loaded firearm and possession of an assault weapon. While the court documents, obtained by Page Six, didn’t identify the reality star’s victim, the filing indicated that she was a 31-year-old female at the time of the arrest on March 27.
Ben-Cohen turned 32 in June.
Shouhed was booked around 1:05 a.m. local time on March 28, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department court records showed. He was charged with corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, which is a felony, per the sheriff’s department.
About a week after Shouhed’s legal troubles began, Bravo canceled “Shahs of Sunset” after nine seasons, with sources telling us that it became “too expensive to make,” while a Ryan Seacrest Productions source claimed the show simply “ran its course.”
