A singleton connected with an unlikely match on Tinder.
After swiping right on a potential suitor, the lass realised she recognised him from Facebook.
In an amusing conversation posted to Reddit, she wrote: “This is gonna sound crazy but I think I bought an IKEA chair from you.”
He replied: “Lol no way. I have in fact sold an IKEA chair in the past" – and the lass confirmed: “Off Facebook Marketplace. The one with black and white stripes.”
The pair instantly connected when they realised they’d met before, with the Facebook seller asking how his chair “is doing”.
On Reddit, the single lad revealed his old IKEA chair is in safe hands.
He added: “It’s past midnight so I’m not expecting another response but she did tell me the chair is doing great lol.”
The post has garnered more than 32,200 upvotes online – and many are desperate for the singletons to get together.
A commenter joked: “That chair needs both parents in it's life!!”
Another agreed: “Damn, fate failed the first time, so it came back for round 2.”
A third pointed out: “She remembers him after all this time. She must have thought he was a cutie back then too.”
And a fourth said: “Fate’s playing musical chairs again.”

This isn't the only surprising Tinder match to go viral on Reddit recently.
When a 26-year-old lass crossed paths with the first boy she ever kissed on Tinder, she decided to clear the air.
She messaged him: “Didn’t we kiss one time during a game of truth or dare in my neighbour’s front yard in 7th grade?”
Her direct approach seemed to work a treat – especially as her school crush still remembered the moment years later.
He cheekily responded: “Have you ever really felt alive since?”
