That’s meme! Fans ruthlessly mock the worst-dressed stars at the Grammys – comparing Shania Twain’s hat to earplugs and Bebe Rexha’s pink frock to Miss Piggy
- The 65th annual Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon
- Celebrities took to the red carpet – but not all the stars got it right on the night
- Fans were quick to take to Twitter to mock the celebs who were worst dressed
The 65th annual Grammy Awards was awash with celebrities in glamorous designer gowns on Sunday night – but unfortunately not everyone hit the right sartorial note, sparking hilarious memes across social media.
Music fans were quick to take to Twitter to mock the A-listers who they believed were the worst dressed – with some comparing Shania Twain’s hat to earplugs and Bebe Rexha’s pink frock to Miss Piggy.
Veteran hitmaker Shania looked unrecognisable on the red carpet as she arrived at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles in a polka dot Harris Reed suit and a large matching hat.
Poking fun at the bold ensemble, one viewer wrote: ‘OK, I figured out what was bothering me about it. Shania Twain’s hat looks like the Dalmatian version of the earplugs I wear to sleep on the plane.’
Elsewhere, American singer Bebe Rexha, 33, donned a cut-out pink dress to accentuate her impressive curves – however, some fans compared her to a Muppet character.

Harry Styles, 28, who won Best Pop Vocal Album for Harry’s House, was also not immune to some lighthearted teasing, with his multi-coloured jumpsuit likened to that of Elmer the Patchwork Elephant
‘Spot the difference! I’ll give you 10 minutes (cause it’s very hard). Was that Bebe Rexha’s vibe? Miss Bebe Piggy at the Grammys y’all,’ wrote one unimpressed social media user.
Harry Styles, 28, who won Best Pop Vocal Album for Harry’s House, was also not immune to some lighthearted teasing, with his multi-coloured jumpsuit likened to that of Elmer the Patchwork Elephant.
Meanwhile, Blac Chyna attended the star-studded event in a daring black one-piece feathered bodysuit – which saw her compared to Sesame Street’s Big Bird by one onlooker.
Viewers were left stunned by the ensemble as one wrote: ‘Blac Chyna looks like the bird off of Maleficent.’
Another added: ‘Blac Chyna think she at the Met Gala,’ while one person said: ‘Blac Chyna walked on… looking like a black pigeon.’
Shania, 57, chose to accessorise with dazzling Messika jewellery, with the addition of a bright red wig which almost made her impossible to recognise compared to her usually shorter dark hair.
Her statement suit featured flared trousers that completely covered the star’s shoes, while she wore a black bodice underneath the blazer.
Harry, meanwhile, showed off his quirky sense of style in a multi-coloured jumpsuit with a diamond print.

Shania Twain instantly had jaws dropping on the Grammys red carpet as she arrived at the Crypto.com Arena in a very striking polka dot suit and a large matching hat

The outfit featured a square plunging neckline and flared legs while the singer also sported a pair of white boots.
Showing off his array of arm tattoos, Harry added to his look with a gold necklace as he posed on the red carpet.
