‘Someone told my son about my racy career – his reaction wasn’t what I expected’

Popular OnlyFans star Lucy Banks is now one of Australia’s most popular media personalities and content creators.

But at home, she's just mum.

So the brunette beauty was shocked to find the two world's colliding when her son recently asked about her racy career.

It seems someone had told her child what she did as a job – leading to an uncomfortable situation.

"Someone told my kid that I do OnlyFans, and my son asked me straight out one day about my very adult secret,” Lucy said.

"I asked him if he knew what OnlyFans was, and he responded, ‘It's where you sell nudes’.

"Someone in his life had told him this information, but he wouldn't tell me who it was.

"So I asked him, 'How do you feel about it?' and was surprised by his answer."

Lucy said that her son wasn’t particularly bothered by her racy online career.

"He told me, ‘It's fine. Who cares? People do worse things for money – have you heard of hitmen?'

"This led to an open, healthy dialogue, and I told him to come to me if he had any more questions about my job. He said, ‘If you're happy, then that makes me happy’.”

As OnlyFans mums face outrage, trolling and animosity from other adults, she knows their children can often fall victim to bullying, discrimination and expulsion from schools.

“Luckily we aren’t having such issues, although I’ve personally seen my share of unforgiving judgment from parents and neighbours," she said.

"This is a disgusting example of how OnlyFans creators are met with so much stigma and judgement.

"Someone tried to turn my child against me by telling him about my job, but joke is on them because he is so cruisy and is proud of me for providing for my children as a solo parent."

Lucy formerly worked in corporate banking, but quit her career to make £10,500 a week instead on OnlyFans.

She claims she now should be able to retire by the age of 40.
