In regards to Piers’ salary, and if finding out he earned more she would be hurt or shocked, she said: “I don’t have an emotional investment in it. I wouldn’t react in that way, no.”

Before moving to ITV, Susanna also took part in BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

She was runner up on the show in 2013, which could have seen her earn up to £75,000 for the appearance.

How much does Piers Morgan earn?

The journalist has a lengthy career in the industry with multiple editing jobs including being appointed by Rupert Murdoch as editor of the News of the World.

Piers topped up his bank balance by becoming the youngest editor of a national newspaper in over 50 years at the age of just 29.

Piers reportedly signed a two-year deal with ITV in 2008, which would pay him a salary of an eye-watering £2million a year.

Piers replied: “£22,500,000.”

The journalist continues to add to his fortune by writing columns and presenting TV shows.

Piers was also a judge on Britain’s Got Talent for four years alongside Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden.
