A pizza restaurant sent people into hysterics after sharing a customer’s receipt where they had added some unusual delivery instructions.
Hartlepool Eats, a takeaway delivery service app, posted a snap of the order from Bianco’s Deli on Facebook with the caption "I love the richness of Hartlepool vocabulary."
The buyer had ordered a 12in Americana Hot pizza with garlic sauce and pizza topped chips.
So far, so normal.
However, the £13.70 order racked up hundreds of likes and shares after spotting what was written in the notes section, Gazette Live reports.
The customer had simply warned the driver: "Just a heads up pal, me dogs a f***ing rarf n barks at nowt."
Facebook posters cracked up at at the order.
Many simply added: “This is why I love Hartlepool.”
“Honest as chips, I love it,” added another.
A third said: “Class!”
While others vowed to add the same note to their orders to warn delivery drivers about their pooches.
Another driver shared his experience with funny order instructions.
He said that one of his receipts said: "Extra lettuce, mayo and sauce in the wrap please.
“Make it chunky as out."
It seems delivery drivers can even be instructed to carry out pranks on the delivery notes.
Lynn Staffieri was left baffled after her delivery driver knocked and then ran away.
It turned out her son had planned a trick for her.
He had sneaked on a delivery note to say: "Knock on the door 3 times and scream abracadabra as loud as you can and run super fast away."
