Between finding the right lighting to working out your perfect angles, it can be hard taking the perfect holiday snaps.
That’s why one teen enlisted the help of her dad, who posed for test shots of all her holiday pics from their trip to Paris.
Emma Johnston, 19, and her dad, Mark Johnston, 48, went on the ‘trip of a lifetime’ for a week in July, and wanted the perfect pics to remember it by.
With a tripod and a fair amount of patience, the duo took turned Emma’s goal into a reality, with Mark posing for test shots, so his daughter could get the best possible snaps.
The teen was inspired by a TikTok trend in which women have boyfriends test-run their photoshoots – she just used her dad instead.
Now, they both have pictures of themselves in front of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Louvre.

Emma also decided to share her dad’s helpful efforts with the world in the form of a montage on TikTok, which has since gone on to earn over 560,000 likes.
Her dad’s pics proved so popular that strangers have commented asking him to set up his own social media accounts.
Emma, a journalism student, from Knoxville, Tennessee, US, said: ‘My dad is the best dad in the entire world, and we had so much fun messing around and making memories.
‘It was the first time I had ever been to Paris, and I was blown away by the beauty of the city.
‘Dad didn’t mind posing in front of the camera – he was a natural. Taking the pictures of him helped him then take the same ones of me.
‘I didn’t expect the reaction he’s got – people love him. I’ve had so many messages asking for him to set up an Instagram account – for now, he only uses the one for his cabinet-making business.’
Emma also bought her grandad, Richard Johnston, 82, along for the trip too, and while they were in Paris, she met her great aunt, Jeanie, 86, who lives in the city, for the first time.
Mark said: ‘My hope was to create memories for my daughter and me. Being the reference for all her photos was a way for me to help her have an incredible trip.
‘I wish every dad could have a trip like this with their daughter.
‘The video does not scratch the surface of the meaning of the trip to me.’
Mark had visited Paris many times and surprised her with a trip to Luxembourg Palace.
‘He didn’t tell me where we were going and pointed towards the beautiful building – ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved castles,’ she said.
Wanting to see as much as possible, the family also visited the Musée d’Orsay and Versailles.
Emma said: ‘Honestly my knee was giving up and my feet hurt terribly, but we wanted to explore the entire city.’
Emma used to be less keen on having her photo taken until a year ago when she became interested in fashion and decided to start blogging about it.
Emma’s boyfriend, Macrea Love, 25, bought her a professional camera to take first-rate photos to go with her posts, so she decided to put it to good use on her travels with her family.
‘I actually don’t like taking photos in front of other people, but my dad was loving it,’ Emma said.
‘He didn’t mind at all, he said: “Just tell me what to do and I’ll do it”.
‘We had an amazing trip, and I’m so happy we have photos to treasure the memories forever.’
