Not only did fans fall in love with the rom com, it also put Cusack on the map. According to Celebrity Net Worth, it’s one of the first films that put Cusack and his high school buddy, actor Jeremy Piven on the same screen.

Starring Molly Ringwald on her sixteenth birthday and all of the embarrassing events that happen during the teen years, Cusack played a small part as Bryce; a young man among of sea of boys Ringwald deals with on her journey.

One of Cusack’s most popular films is the romantic comedy based on the novel of the same name by Nick Hornby. The screenplay was also one of several of Cusack’s successful writing ventures and he plays the main character as a record store owner who recounts his top five breakups.

The Must Love Dogs star wrote this popular film about a malfunctioning time machine at a ski resort and takes a man back to 1986 with three others. As in most time machine comedies, the men have to make sure not to change the course of events so as not to change the future.

Another favorite among 80’s and 90’s fans, the film follows the journey of a group of boys played by a young Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman and Jerry O’Connell after the death of one of their friends. Cusack plays Denny Lachance, Gordie’s brother in the film.

The animated film depicts the last surviving child of the Russian Royal Family as she joins two con men in an effort to reunite with her grandmother, Cusack lends his voice to the leading male character, Dimitri. Meg Ryan, Kelsey Grammar and Christopher Lloyd were also voice actors in the film according to IMDb.
