The Children’s Princess! How Kate reveals her caring nature as she beams and plays with adorable little fans – just like her mother-in-law Princess Diana
- The Princess of Wales is often seen laughing and smiling with children
- Her Shaping Us campaign explores the importance of early years development
Kate the Princess of Wales has been hailed as a natural mother, juggling royal duties with caring for her young children George, Charlotte and Louis.
But the mum-of-three has extended her maternal touch to her royal fans, earning her the title of the ‘children’s princess’ and being snapped playing games with schoolchildren on official visits.
The princess is following the example of her husband’s mother Diana, who was adored for her interactions with children, becoming the first royal to crouch down to their eye level to talk with them.
Kate has made several appearances with children in recent years in light of her commitment to the early years of childhood development. She launched her Shaping Us campaign earlier this year – she described it as her ‘life’s work’ – exploring the importance of a child’s formative years.
Kate has also shown her playful side, getting down with the kids at their cheekiest moments as these pictures reveal…
