Commenters were blown away, with many sharing their own foodie tips and tricks.

‘The avocado lasts longer if you put the container in the fridge,’ wrote one woman.

‘A dash of vinegar in the water while boiling eggs makes it really easy to peel them,’ added another.

‘You can keep mould out of an open jar of tomato paste by pouring some olive oil on it and inverting the jar in the fridge.’

But this is not the first time an influencer has taken to Instagram to reveal excellent foodie hacks.

An Australian school teacher recently shared how to cook the perfect poached egg in a microwave.

She starts by simply filling a microwave-safe glass with a quarter of a cup of water and cracks one egg into the glass.

Sydney mum and meal prepping queen Katie Lolas says this is the most foolproof method to making poached eggs and that absolutely no vinegar is required

Next Katie uses a fork to pierce the surrounding egg whites but makes sure not to damage the yolk.

She then places the glass inside her microwave and lets it cook on high for 45 seconds.

Once it has cooked for 45 seconds Katie puts the glass back in the microwave for a 15 second blast until the egg is cooked just how she likes it.

‘Woah I just tried this and it works perfectly,’ a foodie wrote.

‘I am mind blown! This is an absolute game changer,’ another wrote.
