HEALTHY HAIR OILS

I’ve always had long hair. Before lockdown, I would get it cut and coloured every three months, plus a deep conditioning treatment. Now, I rely on argan oil to keep my hair healthy. I’m obsessed with Moroccanoil Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner (£33.90, lookfantastic.com). I apply the Intense Hydrating Mask (£25.45) every fortnight.

MIDLIFE TENNIS & YOGA

I’m very active, which has been hard in lockdown. So I do an hour of yoga every day with my local class on Zoom (£10). It feels like a social event. I come away feeling balanced and ready to start the day. Usually, I play competitive tennis three or four times a week at my local club. It’s easy to start in midlife because it’s not too hard on the joints.

FIND YOUR COLOUR

I’ve found it’s common for women to feel invisible over 50. It’s so important to have fun, and colour can be such a confidence boost. The key is to find the shade that suits your complexion. I have olive skin and dark hair, so I suit cool undertones, such as a lemon yellow, or vibrant fuchsia pink.

ENJOY AROMATHERAPY

Every night, I apply AromaWorks Nourish Face Serum (£11.24, hollandandbarrett.com). It contains essential oils such as neroli and bergamot, chamomile and lavender. It’s like going for a facial. My skin feels so hydrated. I relax with their candles and bath bombs too.

SIMPLE SKINCARE

I drink two litres of water a day to keep my skin hydrated. And I swear by my cleanse, tone and moisturising regime. I use Clinique 3-Step system: a Liquid Facial Soap, Clarifying Lotion and Moisturising Lotion (£53.20, boots.com) because it’s not too strong and doesn’t irritate my skin.
